The Mission of the Club
The mission of a Toastmasters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop and practice communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.
About the Club
UNSW Professional Speakers is one of the Toastmasters Clubs in Sydney, and was chartered in April 2002. Our meetings are educational, interesting and aims to develop your communication and leadership skills in a friendly environment. Through our meetings you will learn how to successfully express your ideas, improve your ability to evaluate other peoples ideas and rid that nervousness you feel when you speak in public.
We do not cater for UNSW students only. We welcome people from different sorts of academia, working, cultural and racial background, so as to expand members horizon, increasing the opportunity to learn from a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience in different aspects.
Please feel free to browse around this website. We extend our warmest welcome and look forward to see you in one of our meetings!
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
